Andrea was very much on time as she had always been fascinated by potions and had enjoyed it with every teacher up till now. She simply liked the idea of creating something new by blending various substances and though normally anything but tidy, potions was different.

It had been drilled into her that any mistakes and slipshod methods could be disasterous here and for once Andrea was willing to concentrate completely. True, it was only in potions that she was prepared to work that hard, but there she was certainly willing to swot at the right order and to prepare the ingredients meticulously.

However, today Andrea was certainly somewhat apprehensive as she didn't know what to expect of the new professor. Would he be alright in spite of the rumours which had preceeded him? How would he - er - deal with her after their run-in the night before? Andrea sat down quietly somewhere in the middle of the classroom and quickly unpacked her textbook, parchment and quill and put her wand at her side. Only then did she allow her eyes to wander around the room, which had changed its appearence somewhat with each new professor. Obviously, the professors enjoyed decorating their classrooms according to their taste and Andrea's eyes grew large as she looked at the bubbling cauldrons.

She longed to go up to the cauldrons and take a closer look, possibly sniff slightly to find out what they contained, but she dared not do that and remained in her seat, contending herself wiith looking and waiting impatiently for the lesson to begin. What would it be like this year?

Unfortunately, none of the other students had arrived as yet and Andrea was fidgeting somewhat in her chair, feeling decidedly impatient. It was pretty obvious by now, that patience certainly wasn't one of Andrea's virtues, though she was too shy to wander around the classroom at her leisure, even if she'd like to. It was just so tempting!
