Standing at an impressive height of six feet, three inches, Maximilien Brossard has a sort of look to him that he could probably crush you if he just picked you up. His rather rough skin, demonstrated beautifully in his large, rough hands, does not exactly make his appearance any softer. He looks like he has a lot of muscles, but not an abnormally large amount for someone of his size. Most of his weight comes from his muscles, which is why people have called him pretty dense in the past. He looks to be pretty fit, which is true since he does try to keep his body well maintained when he can. Usually a lot of his Death Eater work does that for him. Because of most of his Death Eater work, Max is incredibly strong, which he likes to demonstrate by flinging things into walls when he’s angry. Anyone who is around him for a long time sees him demonstrate this quite frequently, whether it is a person or fragile objects that he chooses to throw.
Growing up Max was incredibly pale, but time has changed his skin so that now it is just pale enough to make his black hair stand out and to keep him from looking like a vampire. When his wife was very young he told her that she looked a lot like he used to look when he was younger, something that was greatly flattering to the young five-year-old. His hair is incredibly dark, having been brown when he was a young child and then turning black as he grew older. When he was a child he had hair down to about the back of his neck and bangs that fell into his eyes, but at about thirteen he cut all of it off. Naturally his hair is pretty spiky, but he does put gel in it to keep it up sometimes. It only stays up very well if it is decently long, but if he has it too long it doesn’t look very attractive. Honestly, Max is usually pretty careful about how his hair looks, which is the only thing about his appearance that he maintains with care. He also has stubble which is turning into a slight beard, demonstrating the fact that he really doesn’t like to shave very much. The truth is that at first he was just lazy about it, but then decided he looked good and kept it.
Usually Max wears black cloths, finding that he looks bad (or as he puts it, “gay”) in any other color. However, this is not completely true; Max feels that if he were to hear that much color it would be somewhat of an insult to his sister’s memory, so therefore he wears as much black as possible. Sometimes you can catch him wearing baggy jeans, but he tries to wear a black shirt with it to balance it out. Although he’s a fan of metal music, you could rarely catch him with a shirt that would advertise a band. When he does have text on his shirts, it’s either pretty obscure or on the back. He doesn’t wear long sleeves (ever) unless he’s wearing a hoodie, and even then they must be relatively baggy. Once in a blue moon you will catch him with sleeves that are not incredibly baggy, but this is extremely rare. On any occasion you can probably catch a chain hanging off of his pants (or shorts, which also almost never happens) whether he is a sort of formal dinner and wearing a suit or just regular pants. On his hand he does wear a wedding ring, but because it looks like a regular gold band people don’t usually notice it. He tends to play with it when he is sitting still somewhere for to long, or just leaning against a wall and trying to look bored. On both of his arms, Max has tattoos, covering the skin completely on his right arm and only slightly on his left. On his left arm, he has his Dark Mark and another tattoo that covers it slightly to make it slightly harder to notice (he does, after all, mainly wear T-shirts.) He also has another tattoo farther upward around his bicep which is slightly hard to notice, but looks like a blue circle with orange inside of it. On his other arm, he has a tattoo of a vampire “about to take advantage” with a woman all the way down his biceps and farther down into her arm. Next to that he has a scarecrow and the grim reaper. He also has a lion with a fire-mane to try on his forearm and a goblin going into a graveyard.
Another important feature to consider when looking at Max is his striking black eyes, which seem to show no emotion whatsoever within them. Not only are they black, but they also seem to have this careless and cold air to them that the owner of such eyes is physically incapable of feeling, despite the rest of his appearance. Max has been able to make his eyes seem appealing, however, because of the rest of his extremely attractive features. His eyes are slightly intimidating, though, and it is one of the reason that many people are quite scared of him or think he is heartless.

Growing up, Max was always the kid who played with fire. His father always used to tell him to put the matches down or to stop shooting those “muggle guns”, but Max never really stopped to listen to him. He was terrified of his father and didn’t want to disappoint him, but he knew that his father was actually happy that he enjoyed causing pain instead of upset with him. As Max grew up, he was taught at an early age to hate all wizards and witches that weren’t pureblood, as well as worthless, superfluous muggles. Playing with guns wasn’t banned in his family, however, because they found them quite entertaining, and Max’s father had a slight collection of them. As to fire, there was no real way that they could prevent him from using matches, and Max grew to prefer lighting things the old fashioned way than using a wand (when he learned how to do that.) He is definitely a pyromaniac, but he tries to keep that impulse under wraps as best as he can. He’s a chain smoker, which is something that started because of his love of fire. However, despite his fascination with flames and/or guns, Maximilien is no sadist. Throughout his Hogwarts years he spent time picking fights and trying to make people fire up, but that did not mean that he enjoyed causing pain, and he only because seriously fascinated with it after the death of his sister, Christelle, whom he loved dearly.
Because of his early childhood abuse, Max is actually a pretty mentally screwed up person, which means that his mind is sort of in a few different mind sets. These different mind sets include his confusion over why he was hurt as a child, his anger at his father for treating him the way that he did, and the fury that his sister, the woman that he adored so dearly and the woman who promised to stay with him forever, left him alone when she died. It is these feelings, mixed with others, of course, that have caused him to be what he is this day, as it is obvious that he did not grow up being very sadistic; he was a Ravenclaw! When he was young, he experienced abuse from his father in verbal, physical and sexual ways. Max is usually pretty afraid of homosexuals because his father was bisexual and abused him so much as a young child, sometimes in slightly sexual ways (thought it never went far enough to be rape.) Because of this hatred toward his farther and his association with Andre and homosexuals, he tends to carelessly declare that people are either “faggots” or just “gay” because he thinks it would insulting if someone said that to him. He absolutely hates being compared to his father in any way, so he usually loses control of his temper fast if someone dares to do this. Max’s temper is a dangerous weapon which he can barely control on his own, although he has gotten better at being able to stay silent in situation where he cannot fire up. When he does get angry, he is prone to throwing things and enjoys taking out his anger on his wife, Raven, whom he considered to be sub-human. If there is a female for him to take out his anger on he usually tries to do that instead of throwing ‘valuables’ into things/walls. Since he is incredibly sexist, Max finds females to have less worth than material objects.
Some people chose to believe that he is in love with his wife, but honestly, Max feels no love for her whatsoever. Instead, he feels obligated to protect her, since he understands what it is like to be abused due to his experience as a child. Since Raven’s mother abused her (and he abuses her now), he feels like he has to keep protecting her, more of a courtesy than anything else. Besides that, he thinks that it would not be proper for him to fall in love with Raven, thus causing him to be quite distant with her and rarely making him open up to her. This is because he is still slightly in love with his dead sister, and thinks that if he were to act like he adored Raven all the memories of Christelle that he has cherished will go away.

His worst childhood memory is
Anything involving his father is an awful memory for him, unless it is Andre getting hurt in any way.
His childhood was
Pretty abusive; this is what caused him to be mentally unstable. His father was a bit of a maniac, but Max usually denies this even though he’s now twenty-four. He tries to make it so that his childhood doesn’t really bother him, and to some extent he does a good job, but truthfully he is furious with the way he was raised and hates everything about his family home.
His medical records are
Pretty clean. He's an addicted chain smoker and has done some drugs, but he quit the drugs ages ago. He has a slight sex addiction but nothing he can't handle.

His life was eventful because
Growing up, Max wasn’t exactly a very happy boy, but when asked to admit this he never will. He typically does not talk about his childhood to anyone who asks, and if someone presses him with questions about his past Max is prone to losing his short temper quite quickly. The first thing to establish is that his father was a maniac, and Andre certainly did not openly value his first two children, though for some reason he did adore Max’s younger sister, Pandora, when she was born. As he grew up his father was prone to using him as an ash tray and occasionally beating him, though Andre beat his older sister more because she was a female and considered sub-human. With a father who did exactly have a great fondness for him, it wasn’t exactly easy for Max at home. He was, however, extremely close to his older sister, Christelle. The two of them found it easy to avoid their father together, and even if Christelle was about a year older she treated him as if they might have been the same age. Max was incredibly protective of his older sister, even when they were very, very young.
Max was incredibly excited to escape the confines of his home and go to Hogwarts when he turned eleven. His sister was a year older than himself, but thankfully she had been born too late to be able to go to Hogwarts ahead of him, so both of the older Brossard siblings went to Hogwarts together, in the same year. When they reached Hogwarts Maximilien was promptly sorted into Ravenclaw after asking the sorting hat not to put him in Slytherin, where Andre had been. Christelle was sorted into Gryffindor; this did not make the pair of them very happy, but it was better than being in the same house and constantly being around each other. It seemed strange that Christelle Brossard had been made a Gryffindor, but no one seemed to think that much on it. At Hogwarts, Max quickly found the acceptable witches and wizards that he knew he wouldn’t be scolded for making friends with. He was pretty much the leader of a small group of Slytherins and Ravenclaws consisting of mostly males, but a few females as well. Max was pretty flirtatious, even at eleven, so he didn’t totally mind having females around. Even if he was sexist, he liked the idea that there were available girls around him all the time. He also spent a lot of time with his sister’s friends, who liked him because he was both Christelle’s little brother and pretty smart for his age.
The summer after Max had turned thirteen years old, he visited the house of an old friend of his fathers’, where he met Raven Benedict-Longshawe. Raven was the daughter of Beatrice Longshawe, who Andre had been involved in a long term affair with. Max knew this, and so did Christelle, but since their mother did not they were usually pretty quiet about it. No, don’t get me wrong, they hated their mother, but they knew Andre would be angry with them if they let anything slip, so they pretty much kept their mouth shut. Max was pretty much appalled at the way that Beatrice treated her daughter. Usually he wouldn’t care, but he figured since he had a bad relationship with his father he understood what it was like to not get along with your parents. He found Raven after her mother had shouted at her for interrupting a dinner, and after a talk with her about what bastards all parents were, they became almost immediate friends. After this he introduced Raven to his sister, Christelle, and afterward Raven became a bit of a tag along to the two siblings.
Max and Raven were unable to talk very much since he was about six years older than she was, but they were able to keep in touch enough during the periods where he was home from school. He could tell that she practically worshiped him, which he had no problem with but occasionally found annoying. After all, he was growing older, and was becoming more and more of a rebellious teenager that wasn’t all that fond of having a girl six years younger than him follow him around. However, he enjoyed Raven’s company enough to stand up for her whenever his friends insulted her or said that she shouldn’t be hanging around with them. The summer after he met Raven, he was slightly distracted since his present girlfriend had given birth to a daughter that he figured was his, but after that they became incredibly close. The child that his girlfriend, Sophia, gave birth to was named Claudia, although for the first three years of Claudia’s life Max did not feel very much toward her. In his seventh year at Hogwarts he finally realized that Claudia was actually his daughter and that he had helped make her exist, and after that he began to care about her much more.
Max graduated Hogwarts with very good grades, and then continued on to automatically go into auror training. He did not want to follow in his father’s footsteps, but not much else interested him. Max’s last year at Hogwarts was distracted slightly since he both had to care for his three-year-old daughter, Claudia, but he still got pretty good grades. Though he hadn’t been that enthusiastic about it originally, Maximilien became actually sort of fond of the idea of being an auror once his three-year training was over, even if it meant working with his farther. His sister had not decided to join him on this career path, but instead jumped around a few jobs in a year before simply coming home to help Max and Sophia, his ex girlfriend and the mother of his only child, care for their daughter. In this year the two siblings began to get even closer than they had been previously, and on their little sister’s birthday in a garden outside of their manor this interest turned romantic. Their affair continued for another year until their little sister, Pandora, finally caught them kissing and promptly reporting this to their father. I suppose that Pandora had only intended for Andre to talk to them, but instead Andre took it a few steps farther.
Within a month Christelle was dead.
Maximilien was furious. When his sister died he promptly stopped training to be an auror, knowing that he could never be anywhere near his father, not to mention he had lost interest in the job. His little sister had not been able to keep what she had seen to herself, and she had told Max certainly after Christelle’s death, therefore helping him draw the conclusion that his bastard father had murdered his sister. In his fury he quickly murdered the mother of his daughter by injecting her with drugs, thus finishing his first killing. More were to follow when he became a Death Eater promptly at the Dark Lord’s return. Though he most likely would not have done so if Christelle were alive, her death changed him for the worse, making him moody, withdrawn and quite evil. He jumped around girlfriends for the period of about a year after Christelle died before he finally took a romantic interest in his long-term friend, Raven Lucinda Ilana Benedict-Longshawe.
The pair dated for about two and a half years before Max, being twenty-two, figured it was time to start thinking about marriage. Since his mother had been so young when she married his father, Max didn’t really care about inappropriate age differences and immediately turned to Raven when looked for a wife. Even though she was only sixteen, she was practically infatuated with him and accepted his offer. They were married a year later. Despite the fact that he married her, Maximilien never really loved Raven and probably never will, but instead sees her as a way to be with his dead sister, since the pair of them do look quite alike. Shortly after marrying Raven Maximilien applied for the vacant position of Potions Master at Hogwarts, knowing that, because his daughter was entering school that year, he did not need to be at home to take care of her all the time.
